Example 1

This example demonstrates a SHIFT1 macro call using baseobs and postobs with baselist and postlist to select records and label catgegories. No row or column totals are displayed. Records are excluded if either the baseline or post-baseline value is missing.

  • pct=Y displays percentages.
  • totals=N suppresses Total categories.
  • basevar= specifies variable with the baseline flag.
  • baseobs=specifies selection of baseline record.
  • baselbl= label for baseline flags.
  • baselist=values and display text.
  • post* parameters are similar to base*.
  • zeropct=N displays 0 for missing values.
