We're Starting Off 2021 On A High Note!

December 2020 ended quietly for most of us. Perhaps some of us enjoyed a toast with a loved one as we watched an empty Times Square countdown to midnight on our televisions, but many of us turned in early, looking forward to waking in a fresh new year. We are encouraged by the amazing technological advances in the Life Sciences Industry that have enabled several COVID-19 vaccines to come to market at mind-boggling record speed and gives great promise to 2021.

At DataCeutics/Navitas Data Sciences, December was a very busy and satisfying month filled with work anniversaries, happy clients, and wonderfully positive results from our 2020 Employee Satisfaction Survey.

As a parting note, we want to remind you to take care of yourselves and each other. If you’re setting health goals for 2021, National Healthy Weight Week, observed this year from January 24-30, is a great time to replace unhealthy habits with healthier alternatives.

EXERCISE: The Department of Health and Human Services recommends that healthy adults get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity per week, or a combination of the two. Weight training is also highly recommended. For more information, consult the Mayo Clinic’s Healthy Lifestyle Fitness page.

SLEEP: Healthy adults should get 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night, recommended by the Sleep Foundation. You’ll find excellent Healthy Sleep Tips on their website.
