New Patent for Clinical Data Standardization Shortens Navitas SDTM Projects By Over 50%

TAKE Solutions awarded patent by USPTO

June 24, 2015, Chennai, India: TAKE Solutions, a business process and technology solutions provider, was awarded a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for its “Method for Optimizing Clinical Data Standardization”. This process leverages Navitas’ Clinical Accelerators to reduce the time taken to standardize trial data by over 50% (when compared to standardization without the accelerators), thus reducing time to market.

At the heart of the patented Clinical Data Standardization Process’ are Clinical Accelerators, a set of macros that accelerate the Clinical Data Standardization process where raw data from clinical trials is standardized and transformed into CDISC SDTM format. The process includes various pre-defined steps that convert raw data into tabular datasets. This enables regulators to easily understand the data, as well as enables easy analysis of trial data.

This process is delivered by Navitas, the Life Sciences arm of TAKE Solutions. The Clinical Data Services team offers its clients the benefit of our deep domain expertise in Clinical Data solutions including – Clinical Data Standardization, Clinical Data Management, Statistical Programming, and Data Standards.
